Key Features of the Funding Model

Drawdown on the initial deposit

The X20 model features a specific drawdown structure designed to define risk parameters and account conditions.

Scaling

Under the applicable X20 account model, traders who meet the required performance conditions, including a 10% profit target where applicable, may be eligible for a scaling option. Depending on the account terms, this may allow the account balance to be increased or the profit-sharing structure to be adjusted.

A-Book Market Execution

Under the applicable X20 account model, trading orders are executed using an A-Book execution model and are transmitted for market execution through the relevant liquidity and execution infrastructure.

This means that trades are processed according to the execution conditions of the relevant provider, rather than being simulated solely within an internal environment.

Understanding the Funding Structure

The X20 model is based on a structure that may provide access to increased trading capital relative to the trader’s initial contribution, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

The trading rules and account conditions are designed to be clear and transparent, with all applicable restrictions clearly outlined in the relevant terms and conditions. Users can review the applicable rules in advance, without relying on undisclosed restrictions or requirements beyond those expressly communicated.

Withdrawals and Account Terms

Under the applicable account terms, the trader’s initial contribution may be withdrawn once the required trading activity and any other applicable conditions have been met.

Eligible withdrawals, including available profits and, where applicable, the initial contribution, may be requested on a daily basis in accordance with the applicable terms and withdrawal procedures.

Refinancing capital more times

Depending on the applicable account terms, some funding models may offer account reactivation or additional funding options.

Let’s Compare Different Trading Account Models

Standard Account

  • Trading with a standard account generally involves using your own capital, and trading losses may affect the funds available in the account.

FUNDED ACCOUNT X20

  • The X20 model offers an alternative to trading solely with your own capital by providing access to a larger trading balance relative to your initial contribution.

  • This allows traders to explore trading with a higher level of available capital while maintaining a lower initial capital commitment. Whether this structure is suitable depends on the trader’s individual circumstances, trading strategy and the applicable terms and conditions.

Prop Firm

  • Proprietary trading firms may operate under different models, including evaluation or challenge-based programmes. Rules, fees, restrictions and account conditions vary significantly between providers.
